Operational status

Current status
Okay
All systems operational. If you are having trouble with something, please contact.
Quick Terminology Help
  • All times are in UTC.
  • Maintenance: a planned upgrade or change by the developer. The developer expects the downtime. Usually these are shortlived.
  • Incident: an event of degraded or errored state, either reported by an end user, detected by the developer, or reported by a third-party dependency such as GitHub, Vercel, Upstash, AWS. Downtime for these may be longer, as these are not expected.
  • Medium / Critical: a degraded-state category. Medium means some parts are usable; critical usually indicates a total or near-total collapse of usability.
    • During a critical state, this page or the entire website may be unreachable. In that case the only indication will be a Historical Status Log entry once operational stability is restored.
  • Uptime logs are not recorded, because what would be the point. To get operational uptime, subtract the duration of logged events from your calculation.

Nothing was affected, just testing things to make sure nothing was broken. All in all, no user or viewer were affected.

While it sure did last for a while, it was just systems upgrade and no user, or viewer were affected. System updgrades as described below: New optional controls were added for the person sharing a repository. A link can now be locked to a single branch, offer the recipient a branch switcher, allow the branch being shown to be downloaded as a zip, and show a releases tab with release notes and downloadable release files. All four are switched off by default, so every link created before this work keeps behaving exactly as it did and needed no action from anyone. No user or viewer were affected.

Stylesheet consolidation (single-source design tokens, one site-wide navigation and footer, and the shared-repo viewer restructured). Major internal app refactor for clean future upgrades. Maintenance work also included touch-friendly hover handling and a page fade transition. No major usability disruption occurred, only briefly inconsistent UI (some might have made accessibility or visuals unreadable for a few minutes) during the window. Shared links and repository access, and core functionality were not affected.

Navigation overhaul, better UX of navigation on every platform, plus a site-wide visual refresh (new accent colour, background artwork, and increased contrast) and some mobile layout fixes. UI experience may have been inconsistent during the maintenance. Shared links, core functionality and repository access were not affected.
